Welcome to George Robson‘s website! Here you will learn about the devastating history of the Bath School Massacre.
In 1927, evil found its way into a little school located in Bath, Michigan. Violence unlike anything the United States had seen devastated the town, resulting in 44 deaths, including 38 school children and 6 adults. Andrew Kehoe, a crazed madman, bombed the Bath Consolidated School. Though the motive for his actions aren’t conclusive, it’s speculated he was furious from his public defeat during the election for township clerk and the increase of taxes. Although the children had no part in the rise of taxes or his defeat, they paid the price on May 18th, 1927.
George Robson is the son of two very important people in Michigan history. His father was the senior class president and valedictorian and was at school preparing the commencement for the coming weekend. His mother was a sophomore and was at school writing a paper on her last day of school. While his parents were alive, he never spoke of this tragic incident with them, but his connection with the massacre is still apparent as he has spent much of his time researching the event that took place in 1927. George has interviewed with reporters and has traveled to give presentations. Explore his website to learn and gain access to his knowledge of the devastating event.
